TMM 2026 – A Journey to Remember

TMM 2026 was my first experience, and I had always wondered why people speak about this event with so much passion. After being a part of it, I truly understand why. If you are a serious runner, TMM is not just a race, it is an experience that stays with you for life.

The journey begins right from the Bib Expo. The arrangements were exceptional, and time simply flew by. It felt like Mumbai waits the entire year for this one celebration. The city doesn’t just host the marathon, it embraces. Heartfelt thanks to TATA for organizing such a magnificent event, truly Asia’s biggest running celebration. Once you experience TMM, it becomes impossible to say TATA to it.

There is always talk about the steep Peddar Road incline, but with our bridge running experience and consistent training, it felt manageable. What truly touched me was seeing Mumbai completely transformed, runners everywhere, whether on the roads, in hotels, trains, or restaurants. It felt like we were all part of one big family.

The arrangements on race day were remarkable. From as early as 3:30 a.m., local trains, metro services, and BEST buses were operational exclusively for TMM runners. We were initially concerned about transportation, but seeing taxis waiting outside every hotel was reassuring and showed how thoughtfully everyone is ready to support this event.

The on-ground support was overwhelming. Volunteers, locals, and supporters lined the entire route, cheering endlessly, offering hydration, snacks, music, and encouragement. Their energy carried us forward when our legs felt tired, and their smiles made every step lighter.

Beyond the race, what made this journey truly special was traveling together, staying together, and sharing laughter, struggles, and small victories. These moments, along with the constant support and motivation from friends and well-wishers, made the experience deeply meaningful.

I am extremely grateful for everyone who supported me directly or indirectly through training, motivation, and belief. This journey was not mine alone, it belongs to everyone who stood by me. TMM 2026 will always remain close to my heart.
